Each year, the 11 nonprofit Caregiver Resource Centers (CRCs) serve more than 14,000

help, volunteer support and advocacy organization of consumers, family members and
friends of persons afflicted with serious brain disorders (mental illnesses), such as
schizophrenia, major depression, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder,
obsessive-compulsive disorder and other anxiety disorders.

Visions Unlimited

Visions Unlimited provides outpatient mental health services to children and adults
with serious mental health issues. Located in South Sacramento, it serves the
communities of Phoenix Park (formerly Franklin Villa), Meadowview, Franklin/Florin/
Fruitridge, Oak Park, Elk Grove and Galt. Its staff of clinicians, counselors, mental
health workers and psychiatrists is multiethnic, multicultural and multilingual.
